Terms & Conditions of Hire

Kilometre charges do not apply. Vehicles must be kept inside radius as shown or contract is breached. Rates include insurance, stamp duty and GST.

RENTAL DURATION

1 Day's rental is 24 hours from commencement of Rental Agreement.
Extra hours charged at 1/5th Daily Rate to a maximum of 5 hours.
After 5 hours, the full Daily Rate applies.
Long Term Rates on Application.
Vehicles returned prior to end of Rental - no refunds given and charges revert to the Daily Rate for days vehicle is utilised, with the balance of credit available for future use.

DRIVERS LICENSE

All current non-provisional Australian Licenses, International and most Overseas Licenses.

INSURANCE

Rates shown on website & brochures include TPPD Insurance cover, subject to the Terms and Conditions on the Rental Agreement. However, Hirers are reminded of the following:- Underbody and Overhead damage is at the Hirer's risk and all insurance is VOID if the vehicle is driven off-road, on unsealed roads, unmade surfaces, involved in a single vehicle accident or taken out of the authorised area of usage. Insurance Excess on all rates is $2000 unless otherwise specified.

REFUNDABLE BOND

On collection of your vehicle, a refundable Bond (Credit Card or Cash) is required, refundable ONLY during Office Hours, after return of the vehicle. The Bond is equivalent to the Insurance Excess.

MISCELLANEOUS

Where specified, the authorised usage area is deemed to be between Beenleigh to Bribie Island. The usage area maybe extended to cover between Noosa to Tweed Heads for an additional fee of $5.50 per day.
The Insurance Excess maybe reduced to $400 by payment of an additional fee of $5.50 per day.
Daily Rates are for drivers aged 25 to 75. Drivers aged 21 to 25 must pay an additional $17 per day which includes an Insurance Excess reduction to $500.
